Elkhorn - APQS New Longarm Owners Class
Price: FREE for new APQS owners who purchased their machine from The Quilting Connection, $200 for others
We will delve into the ins and outs of tension, loading a quilt, what types of thread and batting work best in a variety of circumstances. Also discussed will be answers to the most common questions (bring ’em on!) that a new longarm owner may have.
We will discuss basic maintenance and care of your machine, how to set up a pantograph, how to approach a “problem” quilt and more. Essential tools and fun-to-have-yet-useful gadgets will also be covered.
If you are interested in starting a longarm business we have you covered on how to best approach the process.
Class is mainly demonstration. Class will leave you confident in all aspects of longarm quilting. Class is $200 per participant.
Class will be from 9am - 3pm with a lunch break around noon.
