We rent our longarm machines by the hour and the Quick Zip Systems makes the entire loading process so simple and fast! If you rent time on your longarms, you need The Quick Zip System! (We sell wholesale to businesses - see below)
The zippers will be the length of your canvas leaders and you will use the same length zipper no matter what size the project is. The centers of the zippers are marked so every layer will be centered on your frame. The zippers work together to quickly and easily prepare quilts away from your frame. This means no more leaning over the roller bars to pin and no wear and tear on your canvases! The Quick Zip works by keeping your quilts square with less backing fabric waste. You will be able to easily share the longarm machines and this is the base of how the Quick Zip System can help longarmers!
Who are we?
We are a 3rd generation Longarm exclusive retail store. In 1999, Sue and her mom Earlene, purchased their first longarm quilting machine and opened The Quilting Connection, LLC in Elkhorn, WI. Angie started working at the shop in 1999 also. In 2004, Angie started longarm quilting for our customers, in 2006 she began teaching the training classes we include with the purchase of a machine. Angie and her husband Rick purchased The Quilting Connection from Sue and Al in September of 2021. Angie and Rick are looking forward to many years of growing the business and helping more quilters finish more quilts! Angie started a YouTube channel called Angie's Answers to help longarm quilters learn more and feel more confident with their machines.

The Quick Zip System™ has a per order minimum. Machine Sets are what you would need to start with. You need 1 Machine Set per frame. You have 2 options for Machine set. The standard Machine set will allow you to have the backing fabric and the quilt top rolled and loaded on the frame. A full float Machine set will allow you to only roll a backing on the frame and the quilt top will hang and be floated the entire time it is being quilted. We recommend the standard Machine set, because you can load both ways (with the quilt top loaded on or with the quilt top floating) If this doesn't make sense, please give us a call 262-723-6775.

Quilt Sets and Renter Sets are the exact same zippers. The only difference is the Renter set includes a paper pinning instruction manual so renters can pin their projects at their house. I do also have companion videos for pinning to the zippers on our YouTube channel Angie's Answers
